About us

Here at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (FMG), we believe science should be firmly rooted in broader society. To apply our knowledge and insights even more in society and offer smart solutions for social problems, we have set up the FMG Fund.

The FMG Fund helps talented young researchers tackle societal problems and develop real-world applications for their scientific knowledge. The fund provides financial support for projects focused on the development of concrete products, training courses or other scientifically validated interventions.

The FMG Fund is a partnership between the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (FMG) and Amsterdam University Fund (AUF), and forms part of the AUF. AUF is a CBF Recognized Charity and has been designated by the tax authorities as a Public Benefit Organization (ANBI). As a result, donations are income tax deductible and the fund is not subject to gift tax.

Support a project of your choice. Your donation will exclusively go towards your chosen project.
